Worrall Male Voice Choir is fortunate, and privileged, to have a strong base of supporters who regularly attend concerts, festivals, social nights and fund-raising events. The Choir is keen to encourage such support and keep everyone informed of the Choir’s activities and current news. Friends, old and new, are invited to join the Scheme.
The ‘Friends of Worrall Male Voice Choir’ was founded to foster and maintain open lines of communication between the Choir and its supporters.
The Choir is an independent organisation, is self-financing and does not have the benefit of a sponsor in respect of its day to day running. Albeit that the Choir needs to raise substantial sums of money for the rent of buildings, transport, the purchase of music, uniforms and other equipment it still manages to support local and national charities.
To become a ‘Friend’ you are asked to make an annual donation, the minimum amount being dependent upon the number of persons joining. Your annual donation will assist the Choir in its efforts to maintain its high musical standards. What does each member receive in return?
The Choir is keen to encourage young people to take an interest in choral singing and has developed a formal link with the Music Department of Bradfield School. To further promote this initiative the Choir offers a Family membership at only £25.00, i.e. to include parents and all children.
The Choir is a Registered Charity and those of you who pay Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax can greatly increase the value of the subscription, at no further cost to yourself, by declaring it under the ‘Gift Aid Scheme’. Subsequent upon receiving your subscription the Choir can reclaim tax paid from the Inland Revenue. Please favourably consider ‘gift aiding’ your subscription. If you are interested and would like to become a ‘Friend of Worrall Male Voice Choir’, please E-mail the Choir Secretary. with your details, including;
