The Choir took part in a concert to raise funds for the Action for Children Charity (formerly NCH) at Wesley Hall, Crookes.  The Special Guest on the evening was Sam Hillier,  a Countertenor who sings with the Cathedral Choir, and was accompanied by Anthony Gowing (Assistant Master of Music at the Cathedral).

The Choir began by singing 4 pieces from the current repertoire (all of which will be sung at the Royal Albert Hall next April).  Sam then sang 3 pieces,  and then the Choir concluded the first half with another 4 pieces being prepared for the Welsh Association Concert next year.  After the break,  the Choir sang another 4 pieces (3 of which will be performed at the concert next April).  Sam then entertained everyone with another 4 pieces,  and the Choir then performed the "Medley from Les Miserables".   The concert then concluded with the Welsh Hymn "Cwm Rhondda".
