The choir sang at the wedding of Philip Gosney & Tanya Houmand Olsen at St Mark's Church, Grenoside commencing at 1:30pm.

The Bride and Groom
We sang 4 pieces before the bride arrived, these being "The Rose" , "My Luve is like a Red Red Rose", "The Humming Chorus", and "Tibyay Payom". We sang "Speed your journey" as the bride processed up the aisle.

Our Accompanist tickles the ivories
During the service, there were 3 hymns. 2 were in English to great Welsh Hymn Tunes, these being "Guide me O thou great Jehovah", and "Love Divine", and the third was in Danish - our Accompanist Steve doubled as the organist. We had spent quite a bit of time learning this, and it was good to hear that we did a good job with it- thanks to Tanya for that. Our final contribution to the day was to sing "Morte Criste" before the signing of the registers. From comments received afterwards, we helped to make Philip and Tanya's day special.
