The joint 'Come and Sing' project came to an end on 17th April 2010 with a concert in Ponds Forge International Hall commencing at 7:30pm. The concert was the final showcasing of the new choir, and was the culmination of 18 months of co-operation between Bolsterstone and Worrall Male Voice Choirs aimed at increasing the number of singing members of each choir. Many thanks to all who contributed towards the success of the concert, with special thanks to the following:-
| East Peak Innovation Partnership (EPIP) |

The guests were the Sheffield Youth Orchestra, and the "Come and Sing Choir" formed as part of the project between the two Choirs to encourage extra recruitment from the locality. The concert was compered by Christa Ackroyd from BBC's Look North.

They sang 4 pieces, these being "The Song of the Jolly Roger", "My Lord, what a morning", "Song of the Jolly Roger" and concluded with "The Rhythm of Life". As with the concert at the Venue in March, they did very well, and the audience certainly expressed their appreciation of the performance. The Youth Orchestra then played music from 2 films - "The Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Gladiator" Finally, the 3 choirs combined to sing "Gwahoddiad" - in English conducted by Worrall's MD, Dr Nigel Russell, and "When the Saints go Marching in", conducted by Bolsterstone's MD, Francis Wells. The concert then concluded with everyone singing "Land of Hope and Glory", led by the Youth Orchestra conducted by Steve Vickers.
The Choirs, Orchestra and Christa after the Concert
Many thanks are also due to the sponsoring Choir's Musical teams - Francis Wells and Lorraine Pearson from Bolsterstone MVC, and Nigel Russell and Steve Vickers from Worrall MVC for their help, expertise and patience in enabling the new singers to perform to such a high standard. Hopefully their labours will be fruitful, and we now await to judge the success of the project which will be determined by how many choristers decide to join the sponsoring choirs.
